  • Darjeeling tea is often called the “champagne of tea” because of its delicate taste and exclusive quality.
  • Cultivated in an eco-plantation at Moteviot in the Himalayan region, Julius Meinl Darjeeling Monteviot is a second harvest in summer, the main harvest season. Thanks to the fresh tea leaves inside, its dry leaves are colored from green, golden ochreid, to deep brown and even black tones.
    Darjeeling is a delicate pale black tea with a pleasant floral aroma, bright infusion and nutmeg taste.
  • Tea picking region: India, West Bengal state, Darjeeling region Preparation instructions: 1 gram of tea per 100 ml of water, infusion time is 3 to 5 minutes at a temperature of about 95-100 °C.
  • Highest classification: STGFOP1 Special Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe is a tea leaf classification, which means that the tea contains a high percentage of young golden leaves, called tips. A grading system is used for tea auctions.
